Job Title Director of Business Development

Mission Statement and Vision of Holman Recovery Center:

Position Description:
The Director of Business Development and Patient Access has accountability for the patient experience from the point of building referral source relationships to securing admissions to scheduling patient intake. The Director develops and executes HRC’s business development and patient access strategy to meet/exceed goals and objectives, across all service lines of business. The Director of Business Development maintains a pulse on relations between the
Holman Recovery Center, stakeholders and clients and identifies strategic partnership opportunities to maximize impact to the company’s mission and bottom line. Additionally, the
Director is responsible for ensuring the 36 Bed SUD admission process is as accessible, accommodating, and seamless as possible for clients, family members and referents. This role works closely with the Holman’s Medical and Clinical Teams to ensure that admissions to the facility are clinically appropriate.

Duties and Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited to:
▪ Represent Holman’s behavioral healthcare services to stakeholders yielding quantifiable results.
▪ Expand business relationships with current stakeholders while developing/executing strategies for engaging new stakeholders to diversify client acquisition sources.
▪ Partner with HRC Admission Coordinators to ensure the admissions process is effective and efficient and providing extraordinary patient experience.
▪ Interact with key stakeholder's decision makers; learns the way stakeholders do business; develops an understanding of how clients interact in the marketplace; knows how the competition relates to clients; and finds ways to maintain productive relationships with each stakeholder client.

▪ Respond to communication from both internal / external stakeholders to satisfy essential functions of the position.

▪ Coach team members on achieving goals and developing necessary skills that get results; develop team members performance, provide feedback, and demonstrate the desired skills and expected work ethic.

▪ Support and participate in fundraising efforts and soliciting individual donors.
▪ Manage key deliverables. Prepare and deliver executive presentations to senior leadership teams within Company and to external partners.
▪ Interact with stakeholders outside of normal business hours as appropriate.
▪ Lead Admissions department, develop policy and procedure, trains team members.
▪ Communicate with referral sources and maintain documentation of all such interactions.
▪ Ensure admissions to Holman occur in a timely and seamless manner resulting in an extraordinary patient experience.
▪ Liaison between the clinical/medical/housing team and families, may assist with coordinating transportation/travel services and other mental health facilities to organize the admission procedures.

▪ Create KPI’s, track data and analyze to identify opportunities for improvement.
▪ Ensure 100% client, family, and referent satisfaction with the admissions process.

Education, Experience and Skills
▪ Bachelor degree in human services, business, or related discipline; 5 years of experience may be substituted for degree.
▪ 5+ years of experience in a business development/sales position for addiction medicine or healthcare business
▪ Knowledge of U.S. Healthcare System, Behavioral Healthcare Services Delivery, Substance use Disorder and a general understanding of Health Benefits Administration within this sector.

▪ Willingness to work non-traditional hours in a fast-paced, high-stakes, deadline- sensitive environment.

▪ Ability to work as a team member, and willingness to give and receive constructive feedback to produce the highest-quality product every time.

Work Conditions and Physical Requirements

▪ Work Setting: Indoors, environmentally controlled majority of time, travel in automobile, plane, etc.

▪ Body Positioning: Spend time sitting and standing, making repetitive motions, spend time using hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools, or controls, driving.

▪ Communication: Contact with others, electronic mail, in-person discussions, public speaking, telephone, video

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
